“L’aegl” (Michif for eagle) is an acrylic on canvas painting measuring 50cm (just under 20 inches) in diameter. it was created in my home studio in beautiful North Battleford, SK using professional grade acrylic paints, ensuring it will stay vibrant and bold in colour. Eagles are often considered sacred animals, as they soar the highest of all creatures and closest to creator. I was inspired to paint this after encountering an eagle at my ancestral home of Batoche.
