“L’itii” (michif for “Summer”) is a 9X12 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas painting. It was created using artist grade acrylic paints and as such, will stay vibrant and bright for a lifetime. This piece was created in my home studio in North Battleford, SK, and features a much different colour palette than my work typically features. I rarely paint without pink or purple so this is definitely a special one! The reflections provide some nice surprises, such as big prairie clouds and a moon. Really wanted to capture a warm sunny prairie day.
