This is the first painting inspired my 2026 pride collection, celebrating Indigiqueer identity by transforming pride flags into ribbon skirts, and building landscapes on top of them. The lesbian flag features a white bison being guided by a Magpie, symbolizing respect and honesty of one’s inner voice and identity, and the importance of community. This painting was made with artist grade acrylic, glitter topcoats, on a 36X48 inch gallery wrapped canvas in my home studio in North Battleford, SK.
