Saskatchewan Stories: 18th Ave
A part of the September 2026 Saskatchewan stories series.
This painting features a nocturne urban scene, with a big full moon! While the street could be a stand in for many in the province, the actual area depicted is from the intersection of 18th ave and 102nd street, facing east in North Battleford. This is apart of my route from the local 7-11 back home, so while not the most exciting or recognizable scene, it is definitely a familiar site for me on my daily travels.
The piece is equipped with a sawtooth hanger and is ready for installation on a wall, or its smaller size makes it a great option for display on a desk or shelf. The piece was made with professional grade acrylic paint on plywood and measures 12X4X6 inches, creating a silhouette of the province of Saskatchewan.
