A part of the Saskatchewan stories series from September of 2026. This piece is probably the only that is not instantly recognizable as a location, but that intense sunrise is very iconically Saskatchewan. My reference photo was taken just outside of Cando SK in December of 2026, and features the winter solstice sunrise. Saskatchewan is well known for its striking sunsets and sun rises and so including one in the series just made sense!

It was created with artist grade paint on plywood and measures 12X6X4 inches, equipped with a sawtooth hanger and ready to install on a wall, or, the small size makes it perfect for display on a desk or shelf.
