Saskatchewan Stories: South Saskatchewan
$120.00Price
Part of September 2026’s Saskatchewan Stories!
This one features the South Saskatchewan River, as viewed at the Batoche National Historic site, where my familial roots are.
This is unique from the others in that all other paintings in this series were created with plywood, this one is on a Masonite. It come equipped with a sawtooth hanger for easy installation on a wal, or can be propped on a shelf. The smaller size makes it versatile for display! It measures 12 inches tall, and 4 and 6 inches wide, simulating the shape of the actual province of Saskatchewan.
This painting was also done mostly with acrylic paint markers, making it less textural than my usual work and giving it a very unique, graphic look.
